Somnath Biswas brings over 23 years of experience in the software industry, having worked across Telecom, Financial Services, Healthcare, E-commerce, and Job Tech sectors.

He has built core ML and NLP products for organizations such as NatWest, IQVIA, Amazon, his own startup, and most recently, for Stepstone Group, where he leads the Conversational Products and Parsing domains and drives the productionization of GenAI solutions.

Somnath is also an experienced AI product leader currently building in stealth mode — specializing in AI-powered financial products and managing cross-functional global teams of up to 150 people. His products have driven $20M+ in cost savings and 44% revenue growth.

He is passionate about democratizing AI adoption within organizations and nurturing the next generation of product talent. Previously, he has spoken at Mind the Product’s ProductTank London on cross-cultural collaboration in global product development.
