Speaker bio:

Petar Shwartz is a former partner at the software company Melon, acquired in 2022 by Kin + Carta and later Valtech. He joined the team in 2002 as a programmer and helped grow the company from 5 to 400+ people across three countries. Over the years, he worked as a project manager, technical team leader, and headed marketing, sales, and HR departments. He represented regional teams in global integration initiatives.

In April, Petar left his first and only job and currently acts mainly as an angel investor and mentor. He serves on the university board at the American University in Bulgaria, is a recent member of the Bulgarian angel investor club, relaxes as one of the guitarists in the alternative rock band ALI, and enjoys time with his family in his newly found free time.
